Housed in a former 4500+ s.f. day care center with loads of classroom and studio space, our art center is an offspring of Clay Times® magazine, serving mud-lovin’ clay artists worldwide since 1995.

Our studios are conveniently located next to the downtown Fernandina Beach Historic District, just past the new Baby Cakes bakery and across the street from Garden Street Bistro, just a few doors down from The Green Turtle Tavern, The Florida House Inn, and The Hampton Inn (an easy walk one block south of Centre St.) We also have on-site parking, plus customized art studio rentals for independent artists, and a commercial kitchen available for instruction of culinary classes.
